Since your ears are left uncovered, you can still hear surrounding sounds, including the people around you. These headphones are also safe to use when you are out and about, letting you stay aware of approaching cars and bicycles.

The ATH-AC5TW headphones are incredibly lightweight at just 10.5 g. The soft ear hooks offer a comfortable fit for a wide range of users, reduces fatigue and ensures continuing comfort even for long listening periods. However the bass still packs a punch, with Dual Bass Enhancement Technology using digital processing to combine a bass range reinforcement algorithm and a dynamic EQ algorithm for steady bass even at low volumes.
