The adapter has a 3/8"-16 screw for an optional ballhead and its 5/8" receiver fits standard "Baby" light stands or accessories while an over sized handle securely locks it down. Since the receiver's barrel measures 5/8" in diameter, removing its locking knob allows it to fit neatly into a Junior 1-1/8" light stand's receiver.
