Sennheiser MK 8 Multiple-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone

The MK 8 Multiple-Pattern Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone by Sennheiser is designed for use in home and project studios. It allows for flexibility in polar pattern selection with its dual 24K gold-plated 1" diaphragms, which provide options for omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, super cardioid, and figure-8 patterns. The microphone also includes a 3-position pad switch for selecting between 0, 10, and 20 dB of attenuation, making it suitable for use with various sound sources. Additionally, the mic features a selectable low-cut filter at 60 and 100 Hz. To minimize handling noise and internal vibration, the MK 8's capsule is internally shock-mounted within its metal housing. The package includes a microphone clamp and storage pouch.
