The black MAT 153-S Table Stand from Sennheiser is a sturdy, wired table stand that provides a stable base for 5-pin XLR gooseneck microphones. The TTL logic output on the underside can be used to activate a camera or media control system. The table stand is powered via a separately available 3-pin XLR cable.

The Sennheiser MEG 14-40-L-II is a 15.7" gooseneck microphone designed to provide intelligible speech reproduction for lectures, conferences, meetings, and houses of worship. It features an XLR 5-pin connector, which carries power for its green light ring and audio signal to a preamp. The green light ring indicates when the speaker can take the floor.

Its KE 10 capsule features a directional cardioid polar pattern and yields a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. RF shielding protects against interference from wireless devices, giving you a cleaner signal. The flexible 15.7" gooseneck allows precise placement in front of the spokesperson. No batteries are needed to power the MEG 14-40-L-II, it operates on 12 to 48V phantom power.
