The Sennheiser HMDC 27 Dual-Ear Over-Ear Broadcast Headset with Dynamic Microphone and Active Noise Reduction is ideal for TV and radio applications in very loud environments. The HMDC 27 features NoiseGard (active noise reduction) that actively reduces the ambient-noise level by 15 dB, increasing intelligibility while protecting the user's hearing and avoiding stress and fatigue due to noise. The lightweight design offers extrasoft cushions and headband padding for long-lasting comfort during extended production days.

The closed-back around-ear headphones and ActiveGard limiting technology (with three switchable attenuation settings) prioritise isolation, passive noise reduction, and hearing protection, while still handling high-decibel performance. Featuring a modular design, the HMDC 27 is compatible with a wide variety of cables and boom arms.

Dynamic Boom Microphone

The integrated dynamic hypercardioid boom microphone gives you reliable broadcast sound quality up to 18 kHz and delivers excellent acoustic performance.

NoiseGard Active Noise Reduction

For ease of operation, the NoiseGard active noise reduction does not require batteries but is conveniently powered via the P48 phantom-power supply from the broadcast desk or intercom system (P12-P48 as per DIN_EN 61938).

Choice of Headbands for Comfort

The HMDC 27 features the automatically opening two-piece headband, hence no pressure on the sensitive fontanelle. For users who still prefer a conventional headband, a wide headband padding is included that converts the two-piece headband into a compact single piece.
