The EW-D AB is a high-quality frequency-selective antenna booster optimised for using EW-D series receivers with remote antennas and an EW-D ASA antenna splitter. The selectivity of the antenna booster ensures that all RF signals within the specified frequency range are amplified while RF signals with frequencies outside of the specified range are attenuated. The EW-D AB receives DC power from the EW-D ASA antenna splitter. for further information, please see the instruction manual for the EW-D ASA. The EW-D AB has a DC pass-through facility so that you can connect up to two EW-D AB per antenna cable line (DC-coupled). Please make sure that you connect the EW-D AB the right way round (see label on product). To avoid short-circuiting, make sure that only antennas with a DC block are used. Always optimise the position of the antennas, making sure that they cover the desired reception area. A green LED indicates that the EW-D AB is receiving sufficient DC power.
