Made of HPX high-performance resin, the black Storm iM2435 Top Loader Case from Pelican is watertight, crush and dustproof, and made to sustain high impacts, protecting the equipment inside. The molded padlock holes are reinforced with stainless steel and can accomodate nearly any standard padlock or TSA lock. All moving parts such as hinges, latches, and handles have aluminium pins for strength and durability. Storm cases have a simple latch system that only requires you to push the latch to close it automatically and open it back up with a light pull. Closing the lid and latches activate the automatic purge valve, which equalizes the pressure inside the case, protecting the contents from altitude changes. This case comes empty, so it can be customized.

The top-loading case lid has an O-ring, and the case has an IP rating of 67, which means it is dustproof and submersible to 3.2 feet. On the top of the lid is a rubber-coated handle for a better grip, and the back of the case has a retractable extension handle for pulling the case on its in-line skate-style ball-bearing wheels. All Storm cases are made in the USA.
