The GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is a super telephoto prime lens that captures images up to 500mm (equivalent to 396mm in 35mm format), making it the longest in the FUJINON GF lens lineup. When paired with the FUJINON Teleconverter GF1.4X TC WR, it extends to a maximum focal length of 700mm (equivalent to 554mm in 35mm format). Despite its significant reach, the lens remains highly portable, weighing approximately 1,375g.

The powerful telephoto capabilities of the GF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR, combined with the high resolution of the GFX System, work in harmony to capture intricate details that are typically missed. This lens is adept at capturing dynamic scenes such as athletes in motion, wildlife, and detailed avian photography. By reducing the typical bulk and weight associated with super telephoto lenses and enhancing autofocus speed and accuracy, the GFX System now facilitates easier sports, wildlife, and bird photography.

Enhanced image stabilisation further improves performance, offering up to 6.0 stops of vibration compensation, which is crucial for handheld shooting in the super telephoto range where camera shake is prevalent.
