Keeping a convenient and compact design similar to the Ray 60c's, amaran introduces the Ray 120c RGB LED Light as a full-colour point-source LED with higher output. The Ray 120c remains slim at 50mm and lightweight at 590g, but it delivers 120W of power output for creators in need of more punch and mobility. The light is significantly brighter than amaran's 150c and has 85% of body reduction to better suit tight spaces and on-the-go workflows. Powered by the OmniColour light engine, the Ray 120c provides power flexibility and easy local/app control via FlowTurn knob and NFC configuration. Choose from an extended colour temperature range of 1800-20,000K in CCT+ with high colour accuracy, and access 360° full colour control with HSI and RGB modes. Despite its compact design, the Ray 120c features a full-size Bowens mount, while offering Ace E-Lock compatibility and USB-C PD support. This light is easy to pack, mount, and carry with you. Essential accessories are included so the Ray 120c comes travel-ready for everything from outdoor spaces to studio setups.

More Punch, Ultra-Compact Body

The bare light delivers up to 6850 lux at 1m and 3200K, but pair it with the separately available Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel if you need some extra punch. Experience 8719 lumens, green-magenta shift, and find true-to-life colours with high CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, TM-30 94/100 ratings. These ratings reflect cleaner whites, true skin tones, and highly accurate colours that stay consistent on camera and to the eye.

360° Full Colour

Amaran's OmniColour engine offers an enhanced colour spectrum with expanded red and blue ranges for a more full and balanced spectrum of light. The Ray 120c has a 2300-10,000K adjustable colour temperature that can be extended to a wider 1800-20,000K range in CCT+ mode. Another benefit is 0-100% stepless brightness control. The light supports 360° of colour control for creating different looks, while the FX mode lets you select from 12 different effects: fireworks, faulty bulb, lightning, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, fire, paparazzi, welding, cop car, and party.

Adaptive Control

Other highlights are a Quick Operation mode for instant adjustments of settings, custom shortcuts for long press and double-click options, as well as High-Speed Photography and Studio modes. Control is simplified with an intuitive menu and a TFT screen for quick onboard operation. A FlowTurn knob gives you tactile feedback when adjusting the lighting settings, but the Ray 120c also provides one-tap pairing to the amaran app thanks to its built-in NFC configuration. Bluetooth app control has a generous 262.5' wireless operating range.

Multiple Power Options

Supporting the amaran Ace E-Lock for optional portable batteries, USB-C PD 3.0, and DC 12V-24V power input methods, the Ray 120c expands and simplifies your power options. With the included power adapter and cable, run the light on AC power or use optional power banks and chargers via USB-C PD 3.0. Achieve cable-free operation for 35 minutes at 100% output using the optional amaran Peak or up to 46 minutes with the optional amaran Peak 75 (at a limited 50% light output).

IP54 Design & Low Fan Noise

IP54 rating ensures dust and splash resistance, a great asset if you're working outside and dealing with wind, light rain, sand, or humidity. Active fan cooling is quiet enough for video work at 28 dBA (maximum output) with the choice of silent or smart fan modes. This is a practical COB LED lighting solution for creators in need of a portable and quiet light without giving up image quality. It sets up fast and is suitable for tight spaces, on the go, and between locations.

Wide Compatibility

The fixture's metal, full-size Bowens mount is fully compatible with the separately available Mini Reflector, Mini Fresnel, and other Bowens modifiers. In addition, a 1/4-20" screw mount allows attachment to optional mounting gear. Along with the light, amaran also includes a 30cm diametre one-snap setup Octa Dome 30 softbox, along with a convenient Ace Lock to Baby Pin Adapter Grip for quick mounting to optional light stands or handheld use with optional portable batteries. The accessory features a durable silicone strap for securing your power source.
